Don't see what you're looking for in our shop? That doesn't necessarily mean we can't make it. We love trying new things and taking on projects that let us get a little creative. Bring us your idea and we'll see what we can do! That said, we'll always be honest about what we can, and can't, do well. If a project is outside our capabilities, we'd rather tell you than create something that doesn't meet the quality we want associated with Dear Mimi.

See a piece in our shop you love, but wish it came in the fabric you spotted on another item? Want to pair a certain print with a different lining, zipper, embroidery, or detail? That's right up our alley. Mixing, matching, and creating combinations that feel uniquely you is one of our favorite parts of custom work. If you have a fabric or combination in mind that you don't see, ask us—we may be able to source something that fits your vision.

Please keep in mind that some of our fabrics, particularly vintage and limited-quantity finds, may not be available again once they're gone. We'll always do our best to find an alternative that captures the same feeling when an exact fabric isn't available.

A Note About Custom Orders

Custom-made also means a custom timeline. Every project is different, and creating something new can involve sourcing materials, designing, testing, adjusting, and occasionally going back to the drawing board. We're a small business creating your piece one at a time, so we appreciate a little patience while we make sure it's something we're proud to send your way.
