Dear Mimi is more than a name; it’s a love letter to my very own Mimi. What started as afternoons spent crafting together has transformed into a passion for recreating those same feelings of love, creativity, and connection for others through custom handcrafted goods.
While the heart behind Dear Mimi is rooted in those traditions, what we create is made for life today. Our sewn and embroidered pieces are designed to be used, loved, gifted, and made your own—from everyday essentials and personalized pieces to embroidery that can be sentimental, playful, or just a little unexpected.
Each item is thoughtfully designed, sewn, or embroidered one at a time, with careful attention given to the little details that make it special. Fabrics, patterns, colors, personalization, and finishing touches are intentionally chosen to give each piece its own personality, and hopefully reflect a little of yours, too.
Because each piece is made individually, no two are ever quite identical, even when they come from the same fabric. That individuality is part of what makes handmade special. We embrace the little differences that remind you there was a real person behind every stitch.
Dear Mimi is my way of celebrating where my love of creating began while continuing to make something entirely my own. It brings together the patience and care my Mimi shared with me with my own creativity, personality, and occasionally sense of humor.

Our philosophy is simple: made with care and chaos. The care is in the details, the fabric we choose, the placement of every stitch, the quality of the finished piece, and the thought that goes into creating something you’ll actually love and use. The chaos is where the creativity happens, and the willingness to try something new.
We don’t believe that handmade has to mean perfect. Small variations are part of creating something one at a time, and they’re also what give each piece its own identity. No two pieces, or creative ideas, come out exactly the same.
